Why waste fuel and make more work for yourself maintaining two engines? The engine in this boat is the most fuel efficient for its size. This deep-v fiberglass displacement hull CT Imperial Trawler (Tai Chiao) could never do more than 8 knots, even with two engines or more horsepower. Her depth in the water would make it impossible. Not a planing vessel. But a powerful workhorse in the ocean! Besides, the bow thruster gives as much control as having the second engine, but without the cost to maintain two engines. She is made to cruise and enjoy the day. "Seas the Moment" is her name....
